Adult Education Program

ADULT EDUCATION AT THE ALASKA TECHNICAL CENTER

The Adult Education Program supports students age 16 to 60+ in achieving their educational goals. 

Enroll in the program today! Students must be 16+ and not be enrolled in another school. Students aged 16 and 17 must have parent/guardian permission. 

The program is FREE! 

 

GED Program:

The GED includes 4 tests: Reasoning through Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. 

Completing the GED program gets students a high school equivalency diploma and qualifies them for vocational training, college and improved employment opportunities. 


Adult Education Program offerings:

-Adult Education Classes in Kotzebue

-Adult Education Tutoring in the surrounding villages

-Online study materials personalized to students needs

-Test of Adult Basic Education to help students determine what they need to study

-GED Ready and Official GED testing

-Support toward your educational goals, whether that's the GED, learning English or studying for a citizenship test!
